This course is designed for advanced judo students who are interested in progressing in their knowledge and skills. The benefits of this course may be purely recreational fun and knowledge. This course will also provide for athletic achievement in the competitive challenges of the Olympic sport of judo. the curriculum is diverse and dynamic in that it allows for discovery learning through an essentialism approach to education. As with all knowledge, judo learning is cumulative. This class will enable students to continue their studies and progressive learning and work toward perfection of additional throwing techniques, pinning and mat control techniques, submission holds and arm locks, formal judo Kkafta or forms/demonstrations, and lifestyle. Included with this course is membership of the Twin Falls/CSI Judo Club at no additional costs. Pre-requisite includes instructor approval and CSI Beginning Judo or proof of competency. This class requires United States Judo Federation (USJF) registration - additional cost of $55 for annual membership.
Cost is $60 per semester (15 weeks)
