Large Group Study / Conference room
Feedback from on Student Library Online Survey showed that students really appreciate the group study rooms in the Library, and that they wanted more of them, as well as a larger room for larger groups.
Based on this feedback, we converted our Audiovisual room into a larger Group Study / Conference room. The room was made possible by the CSI Foundation (CSI Library Endowment Fund earnings). Many thanks to the Foundation!
The room is equipped with the following:
- Two computers (with Internet connection and standard software package installed)
- A conference table that sits 10
- Comfortable chairs
- A whiteboard
- A SmartBoard
- A projection unit
- A DVD/VHS player
The room offers a pleasant environment in which students can work on their team projects (do their research on the computer, use the whiteboard to draw or work out problems, use the projection unit and SmartBoard to rehearse their group presentations, etc.).
The room is open during regular Library hours. It can be reserved by groups of five or larger. Reservations can be made through our Front Desk. Faculty and staff are also encouraged to take advantage of the availability of the room.
