Board of Trustees
The College of Southern Idaho is governed by a volunteer five-member board of trustees who are elected at large from within Twin Falls and Jerome Counties for staggered, six-year terms. Trustees derive their authority from and hold office in accordance to the state of Idaho Code.

LeRoy Craig Chair Term ends 2010 LeRoy Craig, Chairman, Board of Trustees. Elected to the Board in 1974. He has served as chairman for the past 29 years. His interest to serve on the Board was initiated by a strong interest in education, which focused on CSI as it was a developing institution. Mr. Craig owns an independent insurance agency and resides in Jerome County. |

Dr. Charles Lehrman Vice Chair Term ends 2010 Charles Lehrman, VM, Vice Chairman, Board of Trustees. Elected to the Board in 1974. He has served as vice chairman for the past 22 years. His interest to serve on the Board was spurred by observing the tremendous positive impact the institution was having on the entire community. Dr. Lehrman continues his involvement due to the satisfaction received by being a part of an outstanding Community College. Dr. Lehrman lives near Buhl, Idaho, and has been a resident of Community College District since 1968. Mr. Lehrman spent 20 years in General Veterinary practice and 17 years as Veterinary Medical Officer with USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service. Dr. Lehrman was born in Aberdeen, Idaho, attended school two years at Bethel College, North Newton, Kansas, and received his BS and DVM degrees from Colorado State University. |

Donna Brizee Clerk Term ends 2012 Donna T. Brizee, Clerk, Board of Trustees. First woman elected to the Board in 1988. Her interest in the education process and serving on the Board was stimulated by a college degree in education. She has dedicated her life to making her community a better place by volunteering her time to community organizations. Donna and her husband live in Twin Falls where they own and operate a heating and air-conditioning business. |

Dr. H. Thad Scholes Trustee Term ends 2008 H. Thad Scholes, M.D., member, Board of Trustees. Elected to the Board in 1981. He enjoys a great deal of satisfaction in being associated with this great institution. Dr. Scholes grew up in Twin Falls. He is a Dermatologist and has been practicing medicine here since 1966. His first association with CSI was as School Physician and Team Physician beginning in 1966. He still serves as one of several volunteer team physicians. |

Dr. Allan R. Frost Trustee Term ends 2012Allan R. Frost, M.D., member, Board of Trustees. Appointed to the Board in 2006. His longstanding interest in this strong community college has ranged widely from support of the arts, to the Over 60 and Getting Fit Program and the health occupations field. He has had a special interest in supporting the diverse and outstanding programming offered to all ages at the Herrett Center for the Arts & Science. Dr. Frost received his medical training at the University of Minnesota and moved to Twin Falls in 1974 where he practiced ophthalmology until 2000. He received a Masters Degree in the Clinical Evaluative Sciences at Dartmouth College in 2001, which led him to his present job at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center where he works in the Quality Resources Department. |
