The College of Southern Idaho joins the City of Twin Falls and local businesses for the fourth annual Sustainability Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 in the CSI Student Union.
Organizer Angela Ellis says everyone is welcome at no charge. Local businesses will demonstrate sustainability techniques, local food sources, alternative transportation, and fuel-efficient vehicles. Twin Falls Mayor Don Hall and newly-elected CSI Student Body President Matt Ahrens will be available, the CSI Enviro-Technology mobile lab will be parked nearby, free Earth Day T-shirts will be given to all CSI students, and the Twin Falls Police Department will accept un-needed or outdated prescription drugs for safe disposal.
Hilex Poly will give a new Raleigh bicycle to the person who brings in the most plastic bags for recycling. The documentary ‘Earth Days’ will be shown free of charge that evening at 7 p.m. in room 119 of the Fine Arts building.
