CSI Career Camp 7/18/2017

Up to 200 students entering middle and high schools in southern Idaho can explore future careers, have fun, and make new friends at the College of Southern Idaho’s new two-day Career Camp.

Activities have been designed around the theme ‘Land, Air, and Water’ and include auto body technology, automotive repair, emergency medical services, wind energy, aquaculture, outdoor recreation, water resource management, and biology. Students will enjoy visits to Magic Valley Speedway, the CSI fish hatchery, and the CSI Challenge Course. A water balloon fight is even part of the schedule.

Students in Buhl, Burley, Gooding, Jerome, and Hailey will have bus transportation to and from the CSI campus and all field trip locations. Lunch will be provided both days. The cost is just $10 for each student.

The camp runs July 18 and 19 for students entering sixth through eighth grades. For students entering grades nine through twelve, the dates are July 20 and 21. Up to 100 students will be accepted for each camp.
