The College of Southern Idaho Workforce Development Center will hold a Forklift General Knowledge and Safety course from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 8 at the college’s Applied Technology and Innovation center. Anyone who has or expects to get a job that involves driving a forklift is encouraged to take the course. No prior forklift experience is necessary.
Students will receive both classroom and practical hands on instruction that involves the application of principles and operation of forklifts. Upon successful completion, participants will receive certification on general knowledge and safety for sit-down counterbalanced forklifts.
