The largest planetary rover ever to land on Mars will touch down in August and begin its intensive search for life on the Red Planet. Chris Anderson, observatory manager and Faulkner Planetarium production specialist at the Herrett Center for Arts and Science, will explain how the rover will go about its mission. His multi-media presentation on the Mars Curiosity Rover will be at the Herrett’s bi-monthly Astronomy Talk starting at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 20 in the Herrett Center’s Rick Allen Room. Telescope viewing in the Herrett’s Centennial Observatory will be available to all audience members immediately afterward. Admission is $2.50 for adults and $1.50 for students. Children six and under will be admitted free.
