Industrial Maintenance training 1/22/2013

The CSI Workforce Training Network is accepting its first class of students in the new Industrial Maintenance class, also known as Millwright Training. This fast-track, evening class is designed to include entry level workers as well as those already employed who are seeking entry-level training in industrial maintenance in food processing, manufacturing, and mining industries. Students will learn blueprint reading, problem solving, rigging, installation, maintenance of mechanical equipment, basic welding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and mechanical drives. The class will meet from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays Jan. 22 through Dec. 19, 2013 on the CSI campus. The cost is $1,000 per session (spring, summer, fall) or $3,000 total. The required textbook cost is approximately $300. Limited tuition assistance is available. Please call 208-732-6442 for more information.
