The College of Southern Idaho English, Languages, and Philosophy Department invites students and the public to Latin American Film Night, ‘Noche de Cine Latino,’ at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5 in room 106 of the Canyon building.

“With or Without Fidel,” a 2007 documentary that features Cuba’s leading politicians, intellectuals, and dissidents, debates the future of Cuba’s 48-year old revolution. For the first time, Cubans question the values that western democracy holds sacred and the price Cubans have paid for their independence.

This film is in Spanish with English subtitles. CSI Portuguese instructor Adam Crofts said a discussion will follow the film.  All the films are free of charge and are open to the public. Free chips and homemade salsa will be provided.
