CSI students looking for a job while attending college or looking
for their first job after graduating from CSI, CSI alumni looking
for employment, recent high school graduates, professionals looking
for a career change, or anyone who lost a job, was laid off, needs
to relocate or just find information on how to create a resume
and cover letter, how to prepare and give successful interviews,
how to create a network and get ahead in an organization, etc.
CSI is committed to providing high quality career
services to assist students with their career development and employment
needs. By taking advantage of the most current technology and information,
this site will help users by providing access to information necessary
to achieving their career objectives.
The Center
for New Directions (CND) at CSI offers
career development services, classes, workshops, seminars, information
and referral services, as well as individual counseling. CND’s
mission is “to provide our community with resources for career
planning and lifelong learning.” The Center assists students
with career development, job search preparation, resume writing,
interviewing skills development, and access to professional opportunities.
CND has developed and maintains strong partnerships with academic
departments around campus, area employers, and the community.
CND is staffed by professional counselors and career
development specialists who have the necessary training and background
to help you establish and reach your career goals. Although this
site offers much valuable information, users are encouraged to
contact CND for professional, one-on-one career counseling. |
