This is a study of com[lication that may arise from surgical interventions. Beginning with pre-operative medication reactions, anesthesia emergencies, intra-operative complications including hemorrhage, and se of hemostatic agentsand post op complications. discussion of recognition and treatment of wound sepsis, the use of irrigation solution and wound healing problems including dehiscence and evisceration, and surgical site infections are discssed as well as DVT, compartment syndrome and malignant hyperthermia.
