Jobs Database
Students and alumni can search full-time, part-time and internship opportunities in the password-protected MonsterTRAK job listing database. CSI can also use the database to manage its on-campus job postings (such as interships) for free.
Student & Alumni Registration/Resume Database
With the password-protected MonsterTRAK resume database students and alumni control where and when their resume can be accessed online.
Career Contact & Alumni Network
Often, the best, most inspiring advice comes from listening to the personal experiences of others. With this database CSI can easily connect alumni with our job seeking students.
Other features
In addition to the job-listing and resume database, other features of the CSI/MonsterTRAK system include message boards where students can post questions, a career contact network which allows students to find mentors in diverse career fields, a job search guide which includes tips on such things as how to write a resume and how to negotiate salary.
Employers pay a small fee to post their positions.
Through the Center for New Directions, CSI offers a range of career services, resources and programs to educate students in the career development process, as well as to enhance their professional preparation and employability. CSI is currently developing a Web site that will provide career information to prospective students, current students, alumni, and community members.
