MyCSI . If you still need assistance, please click here to e-mail

Thanks!
- "What is my CSI Student ID Number and where can I find
it?" Every CSI student automatically receives a
CSI Student ID Number after applying for admission at CSI. You
were given the Student ID Number at the Admission and Records
Office when you were going over to the Testing Center to take
the COMPASS test. The Student ID Number is also listed on your
official CSI picture ID card.
- If you attend the main CSI campus and forgot your Student
ID Number, please contact the Admission and Records Office
at (208)732-6795. You will be asked to go to the main campus
Admission and Records office in person and you will be asked
for identification and information that will allow the office
to look up your Student ID Number. For more information, please
call the Admission and Records Office at 732-6795 or e-mail
at records@csi.edu.
- If you attend CSI at any of the off-campus centers and forgot
your Student ID Number, please contact the respective off-campus
center. You will be asked to go to the off-campus office in
person and you will be asked for identification and information
that will allow the office to look up your Student ID Number.
For more information, please call the respective off-campus
center or the Admission and Records Office at 732-6795 or
e-mail at records@csi.edu.
- "What is my PIN number and how do I get one?"
Students will need to have a PIN (Private Identification Number)
in order to access their MyCSI accounts. To retrieve your PIN
online, click on the MyCSI logo on the main CSI web site, click
on the Retrieve PIN button at the bottom of the page, and fill
out the form that asks you for your Student ID Number, Social
Security Number, birth date, and term. Follow the instructions
carefully and at the end of the registration process, you will
be given a PIN number automatically. You will need to remember
that PIN number so you can use it from then on to log in to your
MyCSI account. Note: PINs are changed towards
the end of each semester (just prior to the beginning of registration
for the next semester - look for a reminder on the main CSI page
announcing the time to retrieve the new PINs).
- First-time MyCSI users will have to retrieve their PINs
twice in a semester:
- once when they are registering for courses (generally at
the beginning of the semester)
- once again toward the end of the semester when PINs are
changed (students will have to retrieve their new PINs prior
to being able to look up their grades).
- After this initial semester, students only need to retrieve
their PINs once (towards the end of each semester).
- For more detailed instructions on filling out the online form,
- "What happens if I forgot my PIN?" If
you already retrieved your PIN but forgot it, you will need to
fill out the online form on the MyCSI page again (typing in
Student ID Number, SSN, birth date, and going through the whole
process). You will be given a new PIN online.
- "I am using my Student ID Number and PIN and cannot
log in. Why?" MyCSI is a private community for current
CSI students. You log in with your official CSI Student ID Number
and PIN number. If you know your Student ID Number and PIN, but
are being rejected by the system, check the following:
- Are you entering your Student ID Number and PIN correctly?
- Are you using your official CSI Student ID Number and
PIN, not a username or password from another system?
Your Student ID Number and PIN are not the same as the ID
and password you use for logging into the CSI network or e-mail.
- If you follow all of these steps and still cannot log in,
please contact the Admission and Records Office.
- "Why can't I use Internet Explorer 3.02?"
Internet Explorer is currently on version 7. We strongly recommend that you upgrade to the latest version applicable to your Operating System. Outdated web browsers usually contain security flaws that can be exploited by bad websites on the web. To get an updated version of Internet Explorer, visit Microsoft's website.
