An Idaho native, Jenn Freeman is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer currently residing in New York City. She began her dance career in Boise, Idaho as a member of Idaho Dance Theatre for four seasons. In 2007, Jenn received a BFA in Dance from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. Since then she has been cast in works by choreographers Mia Michaels, Sonya Tayeh, Kyle Abraham, Larry Keigwin, and many others. Jenn is currently working as a dancer for Sonya Tayeh Dance, Kyle Abraham/Abraham.in.Motion, and Danielle Russo Dance Company. She has also traveled around the country as an assistant teacher to renowned choreographers Sonya Tayeh, Mia Michaels and Chris Dupre. Her own award-winning choreography has been performed by many companies including Second Avenue Dance Company (NYC) and Idaho Dance Theatre for their 20th Anniversary Season. Jenn's teaching abilities are a product of her wide array of training and experiences. In her classes, Jenn focuses on warm-up techniques to strengthen and promote awareness of the entire body. She combines the athleticism of jazz, strong technical skills and elements of modern dance to create combinations that are intricate and challenging both physically and mentally.
Justin began winning choreography and dance awards in Hollywood at 18. His contemporary and funky style of dance is currently seen with Tyce Diorio on “So You Think You Can Dance”, and he will be in the upcoming episodes of the new television series “Glee”. He has traveled the US and Europe on several tours, done a Broadway show in New York, and spotlights at the Las Vegas’ Bellagio every New Years Eve. He has danced with stars such as Miley Cirus, Paula Abdul, Katie Holmes, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and the European pop star Natalia Lesz. He has worked with major choreographers on projects like “High School Musical” with Nancy O’Meara, and the “Famous Tour” with Debbie Allen. His extensive resume includes singing, dancing, and acting, as well as music videos, television sitcoms, commercials, and magazine print. Justin also writes music and will be recording his first album soon. At 22, he is currently traveling the US teaching choreography and acting classes and is a major partner in the Christian City Church Project in Los Angeles to build one of the largest and most prestigious dance ministries in the world. He thrives to inspire and be inspired.
Sarah Franco grew up in Chicago, where she studied ballet, jazz, and modern dance at the Lou Conte Dance Studio, performed with The Hubbard Street 2 Dance Company, and danced for the NFL Chicago Bears. She received her BA in Ballet Performance from BYU and toured with BYU’s Theatre Ballet Company. In 2007, Sarah completed her Masters of Fine Arts Degree in Modern Dance at the University of Utah. Since then she has been teaching Modern, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pilates, Kinesiology, Composition, and many other courses as a Visiting Professor at the University of Oregon and, most recently, as full-time faculty at the University of Utah. Her choreography has been highlighted on university companies and local studios across the western US. She continues to perform as a guest artist with choreographers in the Salt Lake Area and teach master classes for universities and studios. Sarah is currently full-time faculty at Creative Arts Academy in Bountiful, Utah and is excited to announce her newest passion—Her very own performing company. Living Arts Dance Company (LADC) opens its first season September 3, 2010!
Hilary Johnson has been the head coach of the nationally-ranked Bengal Dancers at Idaho State University since the fall of 2000 and also teaches jazz in the dance department at ISU. Hilary received her Bachelor of Fine and Performing Arts with a major in dance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 where she was also a four year member and captain of the Nebraska Scarlets dance team. Hilary received her training from Ballet Omaha, Alabama School of Fine and Performing Arts, Midwest Ballet, and Dancerschool. She has attended intensive summer dance programs at Boston Ballet, Ballet West, State Ballet of Missouri, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Alabama Ballet, and Midwest Ballet. Hilary has danced professionally with Ballet Omaha, Charleston Ballet Theatre, Central Dance Theatre, and Mannheim Steamroller.
Nikki Molina was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, where she trained for 15 years on a competitive dance team. During high school she participated in 8 different musicals, was a cheer leader, and started a hip hop team. After high school, she continued her education at the University of Arizona. She was a member of the U of A Pomline, two hip hop crews, a salsa club, and the Afrikana Dance Ensemble. After her sophomore year of college, Nikki decided to take a chance and pursue a dance career. For a year Nikki moved back to St. Louis to raise money for her move Los Angeles, CA. She choreographed and taught at studios all over the St. Louis area, and on June 17, 2009, Nikki drove from St. Louis to LA, and shortly after traveled to Twin Falls, Idaho to teach at the CSI Dance Camp! Since then Nikki has been auditioning and training in North Hollywood, CA. She has participated in music video shoots, show cases, the movie “Freak Dance” starring Amy Pollard, and an Oscar Meyer Flash Mob. Nikki continues to pursue her dream of a working dancer and will not stop until she succeeds!!
Chelsea was born in excelsior Minnesota where she began dancing at the age of 5. Her family was transferred to Las Vegas, Nevada where she eventually found a home studying contemporary dance with Robert Contreras. Chelsea trained with him for 5 years as a member of his dance company Inspire, where she received rigorous ballet and pilates training under the ballet mistress, Tara Foy. At the age of 16 Chelsea won West Coast Dance Explosion senior elite dancer and began traveling as an assistant for John Crutchman and Alan Sherfield. She has been a dancer in various industrial jobs in Las Vegas one of them choreographed and directed by Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo. Now Chelsea has graduated from Las Vegas Academy of the Performing arts high school as a dance major and recently moved to Los Angeles to pursue a professional dance career.
Kristina received a BFA from the University of Utah with an emphasis in teaching, performing and character. She performed with Utah Ballet and the Character Dance Ensemble while attending the university and currently performs with Eastern Arts. While traveling to Spain, Russia, and China, she studied at the University of Eibar, the Vaganova Dance Society, and the Beijing Dance Academy. She trained with the Ripon City Ballet in California, where she performed several lead roles including Sugar Plum Fairy, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. She attended summer intensives at ABT in New York City, Lines Ballet in San Francisco, and Contra Costa Ballet in California.
