Responsibilities of Faculty Senate Executive Committee Secretary

Faculty Senate Executive Committee Meetings

  1. Take minutes
  2. Write up minutes and send draft to Faculty Senate Executive Committee Chair for review
  3. Save a copy of the minutes
  4. After the minutes are approved and sent back by the Faculty Senate Executive Committee Chair, post the minutes on the Faculty Senate Website
  5. Place a hard copy of the approved minutes in a folder for record
  6. Put any handouts distributed during the meeting in a folder

All Faculty Senate Forums

  1. Take minutes
  2. Write up minutes and send draft to Faculty Senate President for review
  3. After the minutes are approved and sent back by the Faculty Senate President, post the minutes to the Faculty Senate Website
  4. Save a copy of the minutes and place a hard copy of the approved minutes in a folder for record
  5. Place handouts in folder
  6. Place board meeting minutes in folder (they are usually sent out via interoffice mail)
