Responsibilities of Faculty Senate Executive Committee Secretary
Executive Committee Meetings
- Take minutes
- Write up minutes and send draft to Faculty Senate President for review
- Set up e-mail distribution list for everyone in the Faculty Senate Executive Committee
- After approval, send out minutes to Faculty Senate Executive Committee members (via e-mail)
- Save e-mail
- Send hard copies to President, Vice-President, Instructional Deans, and the Library (two copies for the Library archives).
- Place hard copy in folder for record
- Put any handouts distributed during the meeting in folder
All Faculty Forums
- Take minutes
- Write up minutes and send draft to Faculty Senate President for review
- After approval, send out minutes to Judy Thom to be distributed to all faculty (via e-mail). At the top of the e-mail include short message telling Judy that the message should go out to all faculty.
- Save e-mail
- Send hard copies to President, Vice-President, Instructional Deans, and the Library (two copies for the Library archives).

- Place board meeting minutes in folder (they are usually sent out via interoffice mail
