Outstanding Student Leader
Lexie Scanlan
Lexie Scanlan served as the Student Body President for the 2007-2008 year. She was inspirational in her leadership of the student body and was one of the driving forces behind the inaugural Change for Children community service event.
Lexie graduated with honors from CSI with a degree in Psychology and membership in Phi Theta Kappa (the international community college honor society) and the CSI Honors Program. She will continue her studies at Boise State University and plans to pursue a Masters Degree. She is currently a candidate for the prestigious McNair Scholars Program at BSU
Outstanding Student Organization
Chi Alpha
Chi Alpha, one of over 60 clubs and organizations at the College of Southern Idaho, was recently selected as the Outstanding Club fo the Year for 2007-2008. The members of Chi Alpha assisted with many major events this year including Orientation Week, Breakfast with Santa, and Tuesday Doughnuts. Chi Alpha meetings are held on Tuesday nights and the advisors are Jim Ingmire and Nina Ramsey.
