Arrival Assistance

Entering the United States

At the U.S. port of entry, you must present the following documents to the INS officer (be sure to carry these documents on the plane with you and not in your checked baggage):

  • I-20 from CSI
  • Letter of admission from CSI
  • Financial support documents
  • Valid F-1*
  • Valid passport*

*Citizens of Canada, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, and the Federal States of Micronesia are usually exempt from visa and passport requirements.
The INS Officer should then give you the following documents:

  • A stamped I-94 card (arrival/departure card) and the I-20 Student copy marked F-1 and duration of stay.

Airport Information

The closest airport to the College of Southern Idaho is the Twin Falls Municipal Airport. It is located approximately 15 miles from the campus. If you need a ride from the airport, please contact the Student Services Offices at (208) 732-6292, they will arrange to have someone give you a ride to campus. There are also taxi services available.

Transportation

If you are planning to live off campus, it is important to note that bus transportation is limited in Twin Falls and the surrounding area. Bus service is provided by TransIV.
