Overview:

Students learn to build competence in personal financial planning, risk management, consumer strategies and some approaches to investing in a changing world.  You will learn to identify and evaluate choices as well as understand the consequences of your decisions in terms of lost opportunity costs.  Insights are applied to the students’ personal life situations.


Catalog Course Description:

An introductory course highlighting personal financial planning including: goal setting, career planning, budgeting, tax planning, housing, using credit, and retirement planning. Projects encourage students to apply course concepts to their own situations. There are no prerequisites for this class.
