Biographical Sketch

Frank Ellis

I was born in Los Angeles on November 29, 1943 and have lived in various locations around the world.  My father was a career naval officer. After graduating from Point Loma High School in San Diego I earned a Baccalaureate degree in Economics from Chapman University in 1966.  While attending California State College at Fullerton working on a Masters degree in Finance, my education was interrupted by the military draft. I served as a Crew Chief aboard assault helicopters with the 101st Airborne Division in Vietnam. After being discharged from the military I made a career in human resource management with various public and private organizations.

I moved to Boise in 1979 where I met my wife Jeanene.  After earning an MBA at Boise State University in 1986, we moved to Idaho Falls where I was employed by EG&G Idaho. We moved to Twin Falls in 1989 when I accepted a position with Universal Frozen Foods. In 1992 I was hired by Avonmore West; and finally the College of Southern Idaho. Jeanene and I have three daughters and four grandchildren. We walk four miles each morning to talk and exercise. Besides investing in the stock market my interests include computers and photography.
