Preparation of a Solid Sample for the EFT-60

What You Need:

Sample of a Solid:  The choice of sample size depends mainly on how much you have and how soluble it is in the NMR solvent. About 50 mg (.05 g) is convenient for Proton NMR, although considerably less (or more) may be used. Time is usually the deciding factor because small samples take more time.  About 100 mg is typically needed to obtain a routine Carbon spectrum in a short length of time (ca. 5 min.).
