CSI Student Computer Accounts
Student Network &
email accounts
Every student who is registered for credit classes
automatically gets a CSI network and email account. Your network account
is usable in any CSI lab or classroom computer and uniquely identifies you as a
user. Upon first logon, you will be
asked to read and accept the CSI Computer Use Policy and setup a password
profile, which will assist you if you forget your password.
Students are strongly encouraged to change their network
passwords. These passwords are case
sensitive and must be a minimum of eight characters. Your network and email passwords are
synchronized, meaning that one changes with the other.
We
have several links to student email on the CSI Web site (e.g. under
EagleInfo) or you can go directly to: http://students.csi.edu. You may access
your e-mail anywhere from a computer with Internet connection and a browser.
Blackboard
You can access Blackboard by clicking on
the Blackboard link on CSI's main
Web site or at its address at http://blackboard.csi.edu.
The initial username and password are the same for CSI
student e-mail account, network, Blackboard and online library resources. However, your Blackboard password is not
synchronized with your email & network passwords. If you change your email or network password,
it does not affect your Blackboard account.
If you are having issues or questions about Blackboard,
contact the Instructional
Technology Center.
