Multicultural DAY
February 16, 2012
"Dennis is a comedian for all audiences! From the Apollo theatre in New York to clubs, colleges, concerts and churches across the country, Dennis has made them all laugh out loud!"
"Dennis Gaxiola is one of America's funniest clean comedians. The preacher's son gained notoriety from his appearances with Jamie Foxx on Comedy Central, The Latino Kings of Comedy Tour with Paul Rodriguez, BET's Comic View, Que Locos and the 2010 season Martin Lawrence's First Amendment Stand Up. Comedy is Dennis' gift."
The College of Southern Idaho's New Student Services Office is pleased to bring you a day of excitement and opportunity. This day has been designed to give students from culturally diverse backgrounds the information they will need to begin their college careers. It will help students understand the many ways they can finance their education, find scholarships, use educational resources, and advance their professional experience through student involvement and activities. Lunch will be provided to all attending students and the event will be free of charge.
* We are not taking registration forms anymore for this year's Multicultural day.

All high school seniors that are in attendance at the event will be eligible for the 2012 Multi-cultural Day Scholarship Competition. This competition will be an essay based. All students who attend the event will receive applications for the scholarship competition, on which they will find the essay question. During this workshop students will learn more about scholarships available to them as well as more information on the financial aid process.
