Firearms, Explosives, and Weapons
Possession of firearms, explosives, and weapons is strictly prohibited on College premises and at College sponsored activities, except for authorized law enforcement officers and individuals who are under the supervision of law enforcement officers. Violations of this policy are grounds for suspension, expulsion, or termination from the College of Southern Idaho. Students or visitors arriving on campus with firearms in their possession must check them in at Campus Security and may pick them up when leaving campus. Any exception must be approved by Campus Security. Possession and use of fireworks on College premises is prohibited. Occupants of off-campus housing are subject to city, county, and state ordinances governing the use of firearms and fireworks.
