Former CSI Student
Chris Eberlein, a former music major at the College of Southern Idaho, is a pop singer, songwriter and model best known for the dance hit “Love is a Game”, indie No. 1 “Twisted Up” and his foray into the worlds of modeling and television. Following the release of his first album in 2008, it spawned a hit single on dance radio (“Love is a Game”), which earned critical acclaim and two awards for Best Dance Single. After graduating from Berklee College of Music and relocating to Los Angeles in 2009, Eberlein released “Twisted Up”, reaching the top spot on the Billboard indie chart that summer, and signed his first modeling contract. Throughout 2010 and 2011 he appeared on runways for LA Fashion Week, ad campaigns by top fashion photographers, YouTube star Ryan Yezak’s “Hold It Against Me” music video and an episode of supermodel Heidi Klum’s popular German edition of “Top Model”. In 2012 his music was featured on the Style/Esquire Network and he expanded his brand hosting premier events in the Los Angeles area, including Microsoft’s Halo 4 party during E3. He is slated to be featured in Yezak’s upcoming LGBT documentary “Second Class Citizen” and is working on new music, a Berklee MBA and is shooting a special for MTV’s Logo network. Of his experiences at CSI, Eberlein says, “CSI helped me by being a first step in the right direction. I highly recommend the school and its music department.”
