Madeleine Parmley, RN

CSI Graduate
A.S. Registered Nursing, College of Southern Idaho

Madeleine was 44 years old when she decided to return to school and obtain a nursing degree. Although Madeleine was not living in the Magic Valley area, she still chose CSI. She commuted to classes for two years and is convinced that it was one of the best decisions she could have made. Madeleine is now a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner and trains domestic violence advocates in her community. She received the Employee of the Quarter award for her work with sexual assault victims and for developing a sexual assault response team. In her testimony, Madeleine wrote: I am proof you are never too old to return to school and pursue something that interests and inspires you. CSI provided me with excellent training and education which have led me to be a confident nurse. I want anyone thinking of attending the nursing program at CSI to know they will be getting a quality education with outstanding instructors.
