Robin was married directly out of high school. They both attended CSI and graduated together from CSI in 1992. They moved to Pocatello, where Robin completed her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and her husband earned a Doctorate in Pharmacy. Robin was accepted to graduate school but ended up walking through graduation from ISU two months pregnant with their first child. She and her spouse moved to Boise in 1997 so her husband could finish his residency at the Veterans Hospital. Robin started working at a local construction company and basically learned the office side of construction over the next eight years. Robin and her husband divorced during that time. She felt very fortunate to have a degree and did not stuggle financially as some of her less educated friends who went through divorce. Robin is now happily remarried, mother of two sons and a step-daughter. She is a successful Assistant Project Manager for Engineered Structures, Inc., the second largest construction company in Idaho. The company builds retail stores all over the Western United States. In her testimony Robin wrote: “I love my job and although it isn’t exactly what I went to college for I would never have this position without my degree.”
