Todd Schwarz is currently an Instructional Dean at the College of Southern Idaho, with responsibility for Professional-Technical programs, Academic Development, and the Education/Physical Education departments. Raised on a farm near Hazelton, Todd came to the CSI as a student in 1980 and graduated with a degree in Drafting Technology. After seven years in industry, he returned to the College in 1987 to teach drafting and eventually found his way to the Information Technology Department and finally, Instructional Administration. He has been highly involved in various economic development projects, including the recruiting and support of the Dell Computer Corporation inbound call center. A lifelong learner, Todd has continued to take courses and is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the University of Idaho College of Education. Despite the many years of education, he still considers the year he spent at CSI in a Professional-Technical program to be the one that most shaped his life and career.
