Monty Arrossa

Monty provides professional and quality services in the areas of employee relations; management consultation; policy development; dissemination; interpretation and compliance; classification and compensation; communication; employee data; benefit information; recruitment and employment; job description development; orientation; performance appraisal; information and assistance; training and professional development opportunities; and wellness information. He also facilitates supervisory and professional / classified employee training. He has over 7 years in HR in the public and private sectors. Prior to joining CSI, Monty worked for the Idaho Department of Labor in the Job Service offices in Twin Falls and Pocatello. He was responsible for hiring, training and evaluating professional employees. He has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters in Human Resource Training and Development from Idaho State University. Monty teaches our Applied Leadership curriculum as well as other workshops and courses on Labor Law, Management and Supervision.
Doug Lincoln

Doug is a CPA and member of Tilley & Lincoln PLLC in Twin Falls ID. After graduating with an Agricultural Economics degree from the University of Idaho and additional accounting courses at Idaho State University, Doug returned to the family farm. Joining a payroll management company, Doug was promoted to CFO as the company expanded to nine western states. After the sale of that company, Doug started his public accounting career specializing in small business accounting, tax compliance and tax representation. Doug currently teaches QuickBooks Pro for the Idaho SBDC and is also a member of the Center's Business Mentoring and Idaho SBDC Advisory Boards.
Dennis Tilley

Dennis is a Certified Public Accountant with the firm of Tilley & Lincoln located in Twin Falls, ID. He holds a bachelors degree from the University of Idaho in Agricultural Economics and a bachelors degree in Accounting from Boise State University. He spent the first ten years of his career managing a farm and cattle operation in southern Idaho. In 1988 he was employed as an accountant with NACA, a large interstate trucking company. In 1991 he received his CPA license and began his career in public accounting. In 2000 he started an accounting firm which is now Tilley & Lincoln PLLC. Dennis started the firm with a unique teaching concept. He felt the better trained and informed his client were, the more likely his clients were to succeed. This proactive approach has proved to be a positive for both his clients and the accounting firm. Dennis helps clients with tax strategies, improving the profitability of their businesses and with presonal financial planning. Dennis provides Quickbooks Pro training for the Center and serves on their Mentoring Committee and Advisory Board for the Idaho SBDC.

Brent is a graduate of Idaho State University with degrees in both Corporate Finance and Organizational Management and attended the Robert Morris Associates Uniform Credit Analysis School in Leesburg, Virginia. Brent has spent approximately 25 years in the commercial lending industry and was selected as the State of Idaho Financial Services Advocate of the Year in both 1992 and 1997. Brent provides training for the Center on Lending, Doing Business with Your Banker and Alternative Financing. Brent has been a member of the Idaho SBDC / Business Incubator Advisory Board since the opening of the CSI Incubator.

Ken J. Pedersen earned an engineering degree, with honors, at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT-Chicago) in 1973. He then worked as a chemical engineer in the oil refinery industry for 4 years before going on to pursue his law degree in night school at DePaul University, also in Chicago. While and after attending law school, he continued to work as a patent agent and patent attorney in the oil refinery industry for 6 more years.
A licensed attorney in Idaho and in the United State patent Office, Pedersen moved to Boise in 1991 when he joined a local patent firm. In 1994, he established his own Boise patent law firm, Pedersen & Company, PLLC. Currently, he practices patent, trademark, copyrigt and trade secret law, including licensing and litigation.

Bryan has been with the Idaho SBDC since 1996 and has served as Regional Director since 2006. Bryan's educational credentials include a B.A. in Education from Boise State and an M.E. from the University of Idaho. Prior to joining the Idaho SBDC, Bryan worked in public education and then worked his way up as a sales representative to become the general manager of a software development firm for Hewlett Packard Company. Business experience includes actitivities as a marketing director, owner, Board of Directors, Secretary/Treasurer of an Idaho Corporation, and LLC formation. Bryan also serves as Chairman of the Unitied State Judo Federation's National Teacher's Institute, and is Director of the College of Southern Idaho Judo Curriculum. Along with his position as Idaho SBDC Director, Bryan is a Certified NxLevel Business Planning Trainer and Certified FranklinCovey Seven Habits Trainer and is a Twin Falls Chamber Ambassador.

During a 35 year career in Business, Engineering and Manufacturing Management, Don has extablished an excellent record as a proven leader & team builder. He has an outstanding record in LEAN manufacturing. As a former NIST/MEP specialist, Don continues to apply his extensive knowledge through Lean Solutions Consulting to assist businesses toward increased effectiveness, cost reduction, safety, plant layout/design, productivity, budgeting, quality, and methods improvements. Don earned a Master of Science in Mathematical Methods in Engineering at Columbia University in the City of New York and received a BA in mathematics from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. Don is a Senior Member of the Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), Senior Member Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), Six Sigma Black Belt trained, and 2006 / 2007 Eureka Winning Ways Growth Coach. After turning a local business around from near bankruptcy into being nominated by Dun & Bradstreet to Inc. magazine's "Fastest Growing 500,"West Gates started the first 100% digital Design Studio in Idaho and one of the first in the US, JFm Graphic Design, in 1991. He developed a niche market within the International Garment, Apparel & Textile industry. Since 1991, he has been a freelance designer, marketing consultant, presentation specialist, product development consultant, project manager and troubleshooter. He solves problems and builds project development teams to help US businesses break into new markets or assist foreign companies to break into US markets.
His client list includes Disney, Pixar, Lucas Films, USMC, the NFL, MLB, Purina, National Park Service, Kennedy Space Center, the Smithsonian, Mattel, Target, Costco, Walmart and many other Idaho and national companies.
He is a beta tester for Adobe, Apple and Google, providing advanced application training. In the last few years, he has provided advanced training to the Creative Division of Hallmark Cards, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat and creating secure Digital Presentations and Portfolios.

Jane is an author and publisher who owns and operates Freundship Press LLC which is dedicated to positively influencing lives through friendship, communication and education. Based in Boise, Idaho, she taught Communications for ten years at Boise State University and left to form Freuendship Press and write and publish full-time. In addition to writing or co-writing six print and electronic books with more to be released in 2012, Jane mentors and trains other writers. She provides Communications, Teamwork, Conflict Resolution and other soft skills trainings for the Idaho SBDC and for larger businesses through the Center.
Debbie Drown

Debbie is a native of Twin Falls and after attending the College of Southern Idaho she worked at a local certified public accounting office as a bookkeeper and worked as an administrative secretary for a local engineering firm. She has volunteered in a variety of community projects, including the CASA program as a court appointed special advocate, the foster parent program, many hours at public and private schools and also taught a drug and alcohol prevention program at the local juvenile detention center with her husband. Debbie is a certified Credit Counselor and the Education Director at Consumer Credit Management Services. She has developed a financial literacy presentation that she currently teaches at local schools and the College of Southern Idaho. She weekly teaches financial awareness at the Easter Seals - Goodwill Working Solutions in Twin Falls and Burley to adults seeking to re-enter the workforce. In addition to counseling individual clients on the repayment of debt and/or improvement of credit, Debbie has worked directly with the local National Guard Armory and Probation Officers to help individuals in need of credit counseling.

Todd is a partner with Deagle, Ames & Co. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from BYU with a minor in Business in 1995. He has practiced accounting in Idaho, Utah & Missouri. Todd's work experience has given him a very broad perspective of client needs. While in Utah, he worked for a start-up company gaining valuable hands-on experience. He worked extensively for one of the Big Four International accounting firms as well as a multi-billion dollar corporation while living in St. Louis, MO. Todd joined this current firm in 1999 and specializes in tax strategies, auditing, financial, computer & business consulting. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, Idaho Society of CPA's & was a chapter president.

Judi has been with the Idaho SBDC since 2011. Judi's educational credentials include a B.S. in Accounting from University of New Mexico and an M.S. in Financial Management from Naval Postgraduate School. Prior to joining the Idaho SBDC, Judi worked as a consultant to many companies, counseling on various business issues, including finance, accounting, human resources, marketing, business law and process review. She has also been employed as a manager at small businesses in our area. Judi served 20 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, primarily as a controller and civilian personnel officer, but also with the for-profit entities. Judi is a Certified NxLevel Business Planning Course Trainer, Business Bootcamp Trainer and Consultant for the Idaho SBDC. Judi is also a member of the local chapter of SHRM Snake River Chapter ( Society of Human Resource Managers).
