Online Learning Survey

Are you prepared to learn online?

The College of Southern Idaho (CSI) is committed to providing online courses to meet the demands, lifestyles, and accommodations students look for when enrolling in college. The purpose of this self-assessment guide is to better acquaint you with the basic requirements of an online environment. Please note: This guide is not designed to make decisions for you. Your decision to enroll in an online course is best determined with the course instructor, your major advisor, or Advising Center.

Computer Hardware and Software Tips

When considering an online course, it is also important to think about the minimum system recommendations of an online environment. The following guidelines will allow you to successfully use CSI Blackboard applications, which are used to teach distance education courses and enhance courses taught in the classroom. Take a look at these tips before taking the online self-assessment guide. As an online student, you are strongly advised to determine if you have accessibility to the bulleted computer system items. If you have any questions or concerns about any of these system items, contact the course instructor, your major advisor, or Advising Center to discuss available options.
