CATEMA Instructions

Teacher Process: To Register As A Teacher:

  1. Go to Internet -- log in @  www.catema.net/idaho4
  2. Click on Idaho Region IV - Twin Falls
  3. Click on new teachers
  4. Click on create an account
  5. Fill out the form and click on save
  6. This will come to us and we have to approve you
  7. You are now ready to add a class

Teacher Process: To Add Your Classes:

  1. Teacher logs out and logs in using new password
  2. Click on add  new classes
  3. Type in the school class name
  4. Class Semester: select all year
  5. Class Period:  select zero
  6. High School: select your high school
  7. Course name - use  the drop down arrow to select the course
  8. Exam required: select no
  9. Click on submit a new class
  10. This will show up as class pending-we will have to approve it
  11. We login-go to classes-view pending - approve class
  12. You will now be ready to add your students

If Teacher Forgets Their Password:

  1. We login-go to teachers
  2. Go to school
  3. Click on teacher number
  4. Write down user name
  5. Change password
  6. Save changes
  7. Back to staff menu and logout

Process for Teacher:

  1. Create new teacher-look up password for teacher
  2. Approve teacher - Eric/me
  3. Teacher creates class
  4. Eric/me approve class

Student:

  1. Create a new account or look up password
  2. Register for teachers class
  3. Teacher approves then
  4. All done

Student Process:

  1. Go to Internet-- log in @  www.catema.net/idaho4
  2. Click on Idaho Region IV—Twin Falls
  3. Go to New Students
  4. Click on create an account
  5. Fill out form: first name-middle initial-last name
  6. Note: Social Security number or student’s ID needs to have nine digits. If the number does not have  nine digits, put ones in front of it to make nine
  7. Type in rest of required information—Note that Program Preference is the student’s career interest only.
  8. Click on add to class enrollment
  9. All done
  10. Teacher must approve the student.  Go to view class list and approve them

If they logged in last year-they already have an account.  If they forget their password we can login to find the password. Encourage them to write their passwords down.

Here is an example of a student user name and password. Here is what mine would be as a student:

User name: kimgarr18

  1. First three letters of the school (Kimberly in this case)
  2. First letter of my first name (g for George)
  3. First three letters of last name (arr for Arrossa)
  4. Date of day of birth

Password:  kim******

  1. Kim-first three letters of the school (Kimberly again)
  2. Last 6 digits of my Social Security number or student ID
