Since Frontier Field was built in 1981, baseball coach Jim Walker has built it into one of the top five junior college fields in the country. The Golden Eagles have been to nine JUCO world series, won 13 Region 18 titles, and won a national title in 1984. More than 100 former CSI players have been drafted or signed professionally.
