Student standing in the CSI library.

Transfer Student

Students who have never attended CSI, but have attended another college following high school graduation should follow these steps:

  1. Apply for Admission Online
  2. Submit Placement Scores for English & Math
    • Students may meet this requirement with transfer credits from another institution. CSI accepts ACT or SAT scores no more than 3 years old that sent directly from the testing service or reported on the official high school transcript. Applicants can take the CSI Placement Tests.
  3. Submit Your Official High School or GED transcript
    • Submit a final transcript confirming graduation and showing all academic course work. This is important for students who intend to apply for financial aid or scholarships.
  4. Submit Official College Transcripts
    • Submit official college transcripts reporting all your transfer work from every college you have attended.
  5. Schedule An Appointment
    • Contact an adviser in the CSI Advising Center to pick out classes and sign up for new student orientation (S.O.A.R.).
