International Astronomy Day – Nighttime Viewing

Join the Centennial Observatory on International Astronomy Day on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 11 AM to 4 PM and then again at night from 9:15 PM till midnight. Admission is FREE to the observatory.

  • 11 AM – 4 PM: Solar viewing, astronomy and space make-and-take projects
  • 9:15 PM to midnight: Nighttime telescope viewing. Weather permitting, nighttime targets will include a first quarter (51%) moon, Mars, double stars, and star clusters.
