UpLink is a dual credit career-focused academy that allows high school students to participate in CSI Career and Technical Education classes during their senior or junior year. Seats are available in 15 different programs for students to come to campus and jump-start their education and training. Students will spend half the day at CSI, morning or afternoon depending on the program, and half a day at the high school meeting graduation requirements. Most programs allow for the completion of a Basic Technical certificate by the end of the year allowing students to smoothly transition into full-time status after graduation.
Most should be at the end of their junior year and live within easy driving distance of CSI as classes take place on campus daily. Juniors and sophomores may qualify for some programs depending on their high school schedule and counselor recommendation. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing with their high school. A letter of support is required from the student’s high school counselor to show that this program will not interfere with high school graduation requirements. See your counselor to find out if this is a good fit for you.
