Hi, my name is Jason Turner, and I am a student at the College of Southern Idaho majoring in Digital Media. At first, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to go into when I arrived at CSI. After looking through the wide variety of majors available I found myself leaning towards media, particularly video. That’s how I became a Digital Media student. Making this choice was the best decision of my life because CSI and the professors in the Digital Media program have helped me open doors and seize opportunities that would have been impossible without their help.
Since starting at the college, I have honestly loved every class I have taken. One thing I've learned is that, “you don't know what you don’t know”. I went into digital media thinking I already knew everything, but I quickly realized that there is so much more out there to learn. All of my professors have experience in the real world and are passionate about passing knowledge onto their students. I love coming to class and learning about things I didn’t even know existed. CSI has helped me grow and develop skills in my desired profession. They have also prepared me for what to expect in the real world.
