Transcripts
Current and former students may need copies of their transcripts for various purposes, including transferring to other colleges and universities, verification for employers, insurance companies, etc.
- Unofficial Transcripts – free (unless faxed)
- Current students can view and print copies of their unofficial transcripts through MyCSI (by clicking the Registration tab and choosing View Unofficial Transcript). Students have access to MyCSI from the time they first register for courses up until one year after they stop attending CSI. Students who have access to MyCSI must retrieve their unofficial transcripts online.
- Former students (students who have not attended CSI for over a year) need to contact the Records Office for copies of their transcripts.
- Official Transcripts – per transcript fee applies (all fees must be pre-paid)
- Current and former students can obtain copies of their official transcripts from the Admissions and Records Office. Requests must be in writing, and the student must sign the request. Requests can be:
- Faxed – credit card information is required
- Mailed – credit card information or check must accompany the request
- Hand delivered to the Admissions and Records Office – in person students can pay with cash, check or credit card.
- Requests will NOT be accepted via e-mail or telephone.
- Official transcripts are generally mailed to the college or institution requesting the transcript. Students can pick up their official transcripts, and transcripts can be faxed, but students must be aware that some institutions do not accept faxed transcripts or transcripts that are not mailed directly to them from CSI.
- Valid photo ID is required to pick up a transcript.
- If someone other than the student wants to pick up the transcript (e.g. parent, spouse, child, etc.), he or she must have written permission from the student with the student’s signature.
