Costs by the Class

Local students can feel free to pick and choose individual classes they wish to take, such as Hip Hop, without signing up for the whole camp. Students wishing to exercise this option need to register with the Camille in the CSI Fine Arts Center at 732-6288 or cbarigar@csi.edu.

  • $20 for one class
  • $75 for five classes (think one class for a week)
  • $140 for ten classes (think two classes for a week or one class for two weeks)
  • $260 for 20 classes

Registration Process

Registration is easy! Fill out a Dance Camp registration form, which can be downloaded here and mail it, along with a $25 deposit fee and a $20 key deposit if you are staying at the dorms, to CSI Dance Camp by July 1st.

After your registration is received, you will be sent a Dance Camp Welcome Packet with important information about what to expect and what to bring, as well as a few more forms that you will need to complete before camp.

Notes

  • The $25 deposit is non-refundable and is applied towards your camp tuition
  • Your $20 key deposit check will be returned to you with the return of your room key
  • The checks, both payable to CSI, should be made out separately so you can get your key deposit check back
  • Final payment for camp is due by the first day of camp, but your check-in process will be a lot quicker if you are paid in advance
  • Students who are staying off-campus will get the opportunity to pre-buy their lunches if they choose

Scholarship Auditions

Scholarships are available at scholarship auditions held in Twin Falls, Boise, and Pocatello. The auditions are open to dance students age 12 to 18 who have had at least two consecutive years’ dance training in tap, jazz, modern, and ballet in three age categories. Students will be judged on technical ability, execution, musicality, and artistry among other things. Scholarships range from $50 to 80% of the cost of the camp.

Dorm Mom Scholarships

Mothers of Dance Campers may apply to become a chaperone in the Dorms for the one-week, two-week, or mini-camp. Those chosen will receive free room and board as well as a scholarship for their child to attend camp for the duration of their Dorm Mom tenure, minus the $25 registration fee. You will also need to download and send in a completed Dorm Mom application by May 1, which can be downloaded here.
