What Is a Business Incubator:
The CSI Business Incubator offers assistance to start-up businesses by providing affordable rent and lease options, business services and consulting in the areas of management, bookkeeping, marketing and financing. In addition, the Incubator provides its tenants with the opportunity to "network" with other businesses and agencies like the Idaho Small Business Development Center and Region IV Development Association.
The CSI Small Business Incubator focuses specifically on the education and training of businesses that are in need of specialized business counseling. The Incubator aids start-up businesses with education and support.
What is the mission of the CSI Business Incubator?
- To provide specialized business counseling and training in a support environment conducive to implementation.
- To provide adequate facilities and resources necessary to develop a new business.
- The expansion of the economic base of Southern Idaho by nurturing value-added, non-competing new businesses.

The College of Southern Idaho Business Incubator offers guidance, a nurturing environment, shared services, and practical assistance giving new businesses a better opportunity to succeed.

The Bonner Business Center (BBC) is a small business incubator created to encourage and assist the development of new businesses in North Idaho. The BBC will help by providing affordable, ready-to-go facilities and a place where new and/or early stage businesses can operate and be prepared for long-term success. The BBC consists of 10,700 square feet of light manufacturing and office space. It also includes a fully licensed,shared-use food production facility to assist entrepreneurs in the specialty foods industry. Kitchen tenants have access tocommercial ovens, steam kettle, hot water bath, jar filler, and other special equipment that is often unavailable to early stagebusinesses. An on-site registered dietician is available to provide assistance with recipe, labeling and packaging, and safety andsanitation needs. Kitchen users join North Idaho Specialty Foods Association, a non-profit kitchen cooperative established toassist in the development and preparation of specialty foods.

The business center is designed to assist start-up companies in light industrial manufacturing during the first two years of operation. The incubator is able to house from eight to twelve start-up companies. PAC offers the best possible combinations of consulting, shared office facilities and professional assistance. This facility provides 100 sq ft to 1500+ sq ft., depending on the requirements of the start-up company. Start-up companies who have completed their basic planning and are already in limited production can occupy larger bays. Companies occupying the minimum space will be expected to develop a business plan, marketing plan, and manufacturing operation before moving into larger quarters. The rental fee is $400.00 per month for each bay in a package price including both space and services. The rental space for desk space is $70.00 per month and is rented on a month-to-month basis. PAC's loan program will be targeted to qualified incubator tenants as funds are available.

The Greenhouse is a business incubator, working with early-stage companies of today to become the powerhouses of tomorrow. Located in the heart of downtown Boise, it offers entrepreneurs comprehensive services to build a strong foundation to take their company on to even greater success.
While all early-stage companies are eligible for the Greenhouse, preference will be given to companies that are focused on alternative or renewable energy - including solar, wind, geothermal, onservation or another energy source. Applications will be reviewed on a first-come basis.
