Student Vaccine Incentive Program

Last updated: 08/26/21

The College of Southern Idaho has implemented a vaccine incentive program for students enrolled in credit-bearing courses during the Fall 2021 semester.  Students must complete the full vaccine protocol and become fully vaccinated before October 15, 2021, in order to qualify for the incentive.

Here are the details of the incentive program:

  • Any participation is a voluntary action.
  • The financial incentive is only available upon completion of the two-dose protocol for the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines or the single-dose protocol for the Jansen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccine.
  • The financial incentive is a one-time $100 cash payment.
  • Any student enrolled in credit-bearing courses this fall is eligible.
  • The College will not retain copies of vaccination records but will track participation in the incentive program to avoid duplicate distribution.
  • Participation requires that the student has completed the full vaccination protocol prior to October 15, 2021. Those who are partially vaccinated will not be eligible for the incentive.
  • If you have already fully completed a vaccine protocol for COVID-19, you are eligible to receive the incentive.

Distribution of funds for the student incentive program begins on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.

To participate, you should visit Eagle Central in the Taylor Administration Building on the main campus or the main office at the Mini-Cassia Center in Burley and produce the vaccination record (card) that was issued to you at the time of vaccination. You will also be required to present photo identification. Assuming that full vaccination evidence is provided, you will be issued a $100 cash payment.

If you are not yet vaccinated, you can complete the vaccination protocol through a variety of medical providers, including through many pharmacies in the region.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Office of the Dean of Students or the CSI Business Office.
