What started as a few extra hours at his uncle's cabinet shop after school later became a lifelong passion for woodworking. Now, Ben brings that passion to the classroom helping students hone their craft. From high-end cabinetry making in California to owning his own shop in the Magic Valley, Ben's love for the job is joined by years of experience. He states that what he enjoys most about woodworking is that it can't be learned just from books or videos, instead it must be done physically. He makes sure his classes prioritize hands-on learning, allowing students to not only learn the skills but develop a passion for them.
