Bethany is an instructor in CSI’s Central Sterile Processing Program and a proud CSI alum (Class of 2021)! She teaches Central Sterile Technology as well as Anatomy And Disease, along with lab and clinical courses.
Her passion for the field started when an A and P professor encouraged her to explore surgical technology. After meeting with the program director at the time, she knew it was the right path. Before returning to CSI, Bethany worked at St. Luke’s, gaining experience that prepared her to guide students in the classroom and in the lab.
What she enjoys most is watching students grow—from learning how to scrub for the very first time to assisting in complex procedures. She encourages curiosity, makes herself available, and isn’t afraid to say, “I don’t know, but let’s find out.”
Her advice to students: “Explore your career options, meet as many people and programs as possible, and give it a shot. That’s how you find what you’re passionate about.”
Outside of CSI, Bethany is a mom, a reader, a Minecraft fan, and a former volleyball player of 13 years!
