Kory Lloyd

For Kory Lloyd, business has been a lifelong passion. In fact, his entrepreneurial journey began with a lemonade stand at just five years old.

Kory first joined CSI in 2011, returned in 2024, and now serves as an Instructor and Dual-Credit Liaison in the Business Department. A graduate of Boise State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration, he quickly turned his education into action by starting his own business.

Today, Kory brings that same entrepreneurial mindset into the classroom. Through real-world examples, hands-on activities, and friendly competition, he helps students understand how businesses operate and what it takes to make strategic decisions that can impact success.

One of Kory's favorite parts of teaching is hearing students talk about their future goals and watching their excitement grow as they explore opportunities in business and entrepreneurship. He enjoys helping students see that there are many different paths to success and that their potential is often greater than they realize.

Outside of CSI, Kory owns and operates a construction business and enjoys spending time outdoors exploring new places. He also has a unique dream that often surprises students: one day, he'd love to live in a tiny home.

His advice to students is simple: start with an Intro to Business course and discover the possibilities that the world of business has to offer.
