College can be challenging, especially when personal or life circumstances make it harder to focus on school. CSI students have access to confidential support services for concerns such as food insecurity, safety, health, accessibility, or other situations that may affect your well-being and ability to succeed. The services listed below are a starting point for finding care, resources, and people who can help.
Health and well-being
Support is available whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or dealing with health concerns.
- Counseling Services - confidential free mental health support
- Student Health Services - basic medical care for students
Food, transportation, and basic needs
If you’re worried about having enough food, getting to campus, or meeting basic needs, help is available.
- Gilbert’s Pantry - free, confidential food pantry for CSI students
- RIDE TFT - Twin Falls microtransit with student discounts
Academic and student success support
If classes, schedules, or academic expectations feel confusing, there are people who can help you sort things out.
- Student Success Advising - guidance when planning your classes
- Tutoring - free help with classes and study skills
Accessibility and specialized support
CSI is committed to supporting students with different needs and life situations.
- Student Accessibility Services - accommodations and access support
- Legal Clinic - legal guidance and referrals
- Center for New Directions - support for non-traditional students (single parents, non-traditional careers, and displaced homemakers)
Child care
If you are a parent or caregiver, CSI offers resources to help you balance school and family responsibilities.
- Early Childhood Learning Center - on-campus child care and early learning
- Child Care–Related Scholarships - financial help to support child care costs
Safety
If something doesn’t feel right, or you’re not sure who to contact, support is still available. If extreme personal injury or danger exists, call 911.
- Campus Safety - help with safety questions or concerns on campus
- Title IX Support - options for reporting or getting help with sexual misconduct or harassment
- Report a Concern - share a concern about safety, behavior, or well-being for yourself or others
