Enhancing Your Student Experience

The College of Southern Idaho is pleased to announce the upgrade of our new Student Information System (SIS) on April 1, 2024 as part of Project Polaris. The transition phase for the SIS begins on March 20, 2024 at 9 p.m.

How does this affect you?

You will be unable to edit your student account information during the transition phase, March 20, 2024 at 9 p.m. - April 1, 2024.

Access to MyCSI will be limited. During the transition phase, students will be unable to:

  • Pay tuition
  • Register for courses
  • Drop/withdraw from courses
  • Print a class schedule
  • Change a major
  • Apply for graduation
  • Review account balances
  • Complete financial aid tasks
  • Get a new student ID card
  • View an unofficial transcript

What can you do?

Be proactive and stay informed!

Before March 20 at 9 p.m. review MyCSI and finish anything you need to do.

This could include:

  • Registering for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 courses
  • Applying for May 2024 graduation
  • Printing your next semester schedule
  • Reviewing your account balances
  • Printing your unofficial transcript
  • Completing financial aid tasks

Durning the transition phase, the following services will still be available:

  • Employee directory
  • Portions of MyCSI
  • Library
  • Canvas
  • Testing Center
  • CSI email
  • Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Office Apps

Reach out to Enrollment Services, first floor of Taylor Building or 208-732-6250, for help.

How is this enhancing the student experience?

  • Registration within degree plan. This means that you can see how each course you register for fits within your chosen major/degree. The system will label the course as an elective or required course.
  • You can use a Hypothetical Program option. This means that you can compare how your completed courses and areas of study would count towards a new hypothetical major/degree. Helpful if you are thinking about changing majors/degree paths.
  • See how close you are to graduation. The Degree Progress Audit will have a progress bar showing how many courses you have completed and how many courses you have left to complete your degree.
  • Online payment plans available.
