We, the Associated Students of the College of Southern Idaho, ASCSI, in order to provide for the organized conduct of student affairs, to promote and facilitate student participation in educational, intellectual, social, cultural, civic, and recreational activities, and as the official voice of the Associated Students of the College of Southern Idaho, hereby set forth the powers and limitations of the student government which shall be referred to as the ASCSI Senate, and the College of Southern Idaho.

As for who I am as a person. I was raised poor and have risen with the help of my peers and friends to my current circumstances. I am constantly pursuing new experiences and am a PADI certified scuba diver while also having a passion for climbing. 

 Madeline Wherry is the current ASCSI Senate Vice President. She is currently studying Psychology and Dance. She is passionate about mental health awareness and suicide prevention, and hopes to become a Movement Therapist in the future. She believes as a community of like-minded yet diverse people, together we can strive to create a college campus in which we all feel appreciated and understood, as well as foster empathy and compassion for each other. As a senate, we are working to build councils up so that they are fully functioning, engaging, and well used among the student body.

Hello! I am Mila Korol, the student body secretary. I am currently a student at CSI and am graduating this semester with my associates degree. I love learning about the inner workings of our beautiful campus and how we, as a student body can improve our campus. I am always looking to get involved and improve our campus to give every single student an amazing experience here at CSI.

Sasha Korol Jillian Gonzalez Aurora Ortiz

Sasha Korol is currently majoring Dental Assisting. As a sophomore senator, she wants to voice the concerns of CSI’s students in a professional and mature manner. She would like to make a positive impact on CSI’s community and believes she can do that through this position. Two of her siblings have been senators before so she has maintained a good knowledge of the setting. She is committed to supporting the students by actively listening to their wants and needs and believes that her previous knowledge of leadership has prepared her for her position. 

Jillian Gonzalez is the current Pro-Tempore for the ASCSI Student Senate. She is currently a freshman who is majoring in Visual Arts. Ever since she was a kid it’s been a dream of hers to be a comic artist to help people out have an escape and to make them smile in hard times. She is very passionate about people and helping them which is why she loves being more involved in the community. Her current goal is to help as many students as possible and she is sure to achieve this as part of the Student Senate. She loves talking to students helping our community grow.

Aurora Ortiz is a Freshman at CSI. She is from American Falls and is double majoring in criminal justice and sociology. She has previously served as the treasurer for LIA and plays saxophone for the school's pep band.
