EAGLE Program

Welcome to the EAGLE Program. EAGLE is a two-year inclusive post-secondary education program at the College of Southern Idaho for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Students learn and engage fully in campus life while developing independence, leadership, academic, and career skills.

Program Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be between the ages of 18-24 years old
  • Must have a documented intellectual disability
  • Must be capable of managing personal needs independently

Program Philosophy

EAGLE emphasizes self-determination and independence while Empowering Achievement, Growth, Learning and Employment.

Program Overview

The program offers job exploration, career and study skills development, academic support for college level courses, career-oriented courses and internship placements, independent living skills labs, and social skills development opportunities. The goal of the program is to empower our students to develop career-based skills to attain competitive integrated employment in a field of their choice.

Application Process

EAGLE anticipates accepting its first students Spring Semester 2027. The application process includes an application, essay, video submission, and interview process.
