The Early College program at CSI continues to grow, with thousands of students earning dual credits each year. As the program expands, the Early College team remains committed to providing students with the support and resources they need at every high school we partner with across the region. Idaho is helping to lead the way in dual enrollment, consistently ranking among the top states in the nation for dual credit participation!

As a Dual Credit instructor, you’re part of a network of educators committed to expanding learning opportunities for high school students. We’re here to support you with tools and guidance along the way.

Inside the CSI Dual Credit Instructor Portal, resources are organized to guide you through each phase of the term—before classes start, during instruction, and as the term wraps up. You’ll find everything from setup steps and required forms to grading processes and end-of-term reporting tools.

Minimum Qualifications & Required Documents to Teach Dual Credit

New Instructor Process


  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Complete college/university transcripts. Unofficial transcripts are ok. 
  • State K-12 Certification
  • A Letter of support from your high school principal.  The letter should include the school's overall philosophy of dual credit and how the dual credit course you desire to teach fits into the curriculum structure at the high school.  Additionally, we want to know what High School Grade Year (i.e. Junior, Senior year) you plan to offer this course to students.
  • Your letter of interest.  The letter should address your personal philosophical approach to dual credit, the specific CSI class you desire to teach, and your approach to ensuring students are prepared to take the College course you wish to teach.
