Amy Movius
Amy has been part of CSI for five years, bringing more than 15 years of real-world nursing experience into the classroom. Before joining full-time, she also taught dual credit courses in Medical Terminology and CNA.
Amy knew from a young age that she wanted to be a nurse, driven by a desire to help others during difficult moments. That same purpose now carries into her teaching, where she supports students as they build confidence and step into their future roles in healthcare.
Her classroom is interactive and student-focused, with an emphasis on real-world application. Through case studies, clinical simulations, and hands-on learning, students gain the skills needed to think critically and provide safe, effective patient care.
Amy enjoys working with the wide range of backgrounds CSI students bring, helping them grow in both skill and confidence as they navigate their path in nursing.
Outside of CSI, Amy enjoys traveling, having visited 23 countries, and spending time with her family and friends.
Her advice to students: stay connected to your “why” and don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way.
