Grants Office
The Grants Office provides support for Principal Investigators (PIs) and Program Directors (PDs) with their external funding efforts by providing a scaffolding that allows them to identify potential funding sources, develop and submit proposals to funding agencies, and remain compliant with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies. We will guide you through the process and provide ancillary support so you can focus on what is most important to you - your (project, program, research).

- Identifying funding opportunities
- Grant proposal development and workflow to meet deadlines
- Budget development, budget justification& review
- Facilitation with collaborating institutions, subcontractor(s) and/or consultants
- Proposal Review and Editing
- Programmatic & administrative questions
Grant Submission Steps
- Faculty/staff meets with Grant Coordinator to assess grant possibilities; find and/or review Request for Proposals
- Faculty/staff meets with Grant Coordinator and Grant Accountant to formulate grant development plan and timeline for submission
- Grant specifics developed by faculty/staff and Grant Coordinator in conjunction with Grant Accountant
- Final draft of grant reviewed by appropriate Dean and VP’s
- Grants department completes External Funding Request Form and obtains required e-signatures
- Required signatures completed and e-copies are distributed for internal tracking; grant submitted at least 24 hours before due date
- Copies of final grant and submission confirmation to Grants Office, Business Office, Project Director, and Department
