TWIN FALLS, ID – The Idaho State Board of Education’s General Education Committee and Capital Educator’s Credit Union have recognized CSI English Professor Kimberly Madsen Dill as this year’s Innovative Educator for Written Communication. Her dedication to education in Idaho has been an inspiration to others and she has received praise from her peers.

Speaking about this recognition, Kimberly Madsen Dill said, “I see teaching as a semester-long work of building trust in my students that I will meet them where they are in their writing, give them tools to become better writers and better editors of their own work, and help them see themselves as writers, equipped to face future writing challenges.”

Tiffany Seeley-Case, CSI Instructional Dean, added “Kimberly empowers students to appreciate the craft of writing for their entire lives. She makes education accessible and enjoyable for all students and really embodies the very best that general education instruction has to offer.” As the recipient for this reward, Madsen Dill will receive a $500 honorarium, a commemorative plaque, and a chance to share her perspective at the upcoming annual General Education Summit to be held October 5 -7 in Boise, Idaho.

Congratulations Professor Kimberly Madsen Dill for receiving this state honor.
